CURRICULUM
Centre staff collaboratively design, with teachers, a sequence of learning activities that is based on the student’s specific interests directly linked with the classroom curriculum.
There are 3 levels of program support provided at BIEEC. BIEEC teaching staff will continue to provide support in developing your program, completion of risk assessments, planning catering etc. BIEEC ancillary staff will continue to provide support in preparing equipment for activities. All this allows you, the teacher, to
concentrate on the most important components, the children.
LEVEL 3:You run everything.
BIEEC provides accommodation and/or facilities. Activities are supported by BIEEC ancillary staff will provide on-site logistical support.
Costings: Accommodation fee and equipment levies (eg ropes) still apply.
LEVEL 2: BIEEC teaching staff can facilitate up to one activity per day.
Visiting supervisors accept sole responsibility for the balance of the visit; this includes meal times, free time and evenings.
Costings: Half-day student charge. Accommodation fee and equipment levies (eg ropes) still apply.
LEVEL 1:BIEEC teaching staff can facilitate up to 3 activities per day.
Visiting Supervisors are required to accept responsibility, at times sole resp onsibility, for the delivery of some aspects of the visit; this includes lunch breaks, free time and the beginning and end of a day.
Costings: Full-day or Extended Day student charge. Accommodation fee and equipment levies (eg ropes) still apply.
